The national cycle route that connects Sarlat-la-Canéda in the Dordogne to Île d'Aix
It took seven years of planning to finally give our cycling friends a cycle route that winds through our verdant countryside. The Flow Vélo route offers a gentle way to cycle, following the Charente River , a true example of "slow tourism." This 400-kilometer route meanders through the Charente vineyards: Angoulême, Cognac, Saintes, Rochefort, Fouras-les-Bains, before reaching the twin lighthouses of Île d'Aix .

Exploring Charente-Maritime by bike , along the Atlantic coast: it's possible withThe Vélodyssée. This cycle route runs along the entire west coast from Roscoff to Hendaye. Halfway along, Rochefort Océan is the perfect place for a longer stop to enjoy the diverse landscapes of the two suggested routes.
